Here Rupal talks with us about her first experiences with U Fit, lock-down and her second pregnancy, the benefits it has brought to her family, and what she enjoys most about training at the studio.

My biggest thing was actually weight loss when I came to U Fit, and that's why I started here to ultimately lose weight like most people when they first start.
A friend of mine was a member. I saw her after a long time and she looked amazing. So I asked her, then she told me she'd been going to UFit. I just had a little Google initially. The price put me off, so I just, I'd kind of just set it aside and didn't think about it.
Then she messaged me a couple of months later to say they're doing a challenge and I felt, okay, this is great. Cuz I could do a six week challenge. I can reach my goal and then say bye, and that's it. So from a cost point of view, it's just a one off cost and I'm done very quickly.

Within a couple of weeks of doing the challenge, I felt a change because of how I'd been training and how I'd been eating. I saw a change in myself that I hadn't seen in months of trying to lose weight after having a baby. I enjoyed it so much!
I am someone who just enjoys it anyway, but I was loving it. I was really looking forward to my coming in four times a week. First, I thought four times a week is ridiculous. I had a small baby at home, there was no way I was going to make it.

It's helped my family because it's helped me meal plan at home for everyone and actually saves money because when you meal plan for the week, you only buy what you need to. And that's helped in our weekly shop. It's helped my husband get healthier.
And just my mental wellbeing because I think it helps to have somewhere to go where it's a break from everything, this is why I come in.
I had a really healthy pregnancy. Then, after my pregnancy, managed to get back to where I wanted to be. Remaining active throughout meant my recovery following a c section was really fast and smooth. I got back into pre-pregnancy clothes within months.

Everyone is just so nice that, I think that's another thing that kind of keeps you in as well as, makes it easier to, to get on with. It keeps you here because you make friends.
People ask me now, you know, how much I pay, and they'll be like, oh, wow, that's quite a lot of money to pay for a gym when you can pay like sixty, seventy pounds now. But actually what you get: the sessions, the accountability, the time they put in absolutely is brilliant value.
And you will get results. I mean, there's new members coming in who are getting such great results. I'm like in awe of how amazing everyone's doing because it does work and because it's easy, it's fun and you've got the support that makes it invaluable.
I have maintained really well over the last 6 months since my photoshoot.

The Create Your State method I learnt on one of the seminars has helped me to do pull ups, which I always wanted to do. It helps me to psych myself up quickly before a workout and it makes each workout count and I can do things I never have before. I can do 5 unassisted pull ups now!
