At U FIt Studio, everything is planned around your fitness, weight loss and health journey. The coach you will be accountable to will be assigned based on our assessment of your specific needs to help you get most smoothly to your goals.
At U Fit Studio, we work more seamlessly than most gyms. Although one coach will set up your goals and assist you in achieving them, you will be trained by all the coaching team at the studio. This means you are not limited by your coach’s availability. And because we track your progress, each coach who trains you will know your current needs and goals.
Yes! Helping you stay on target is a crucial part of how your program will work. By touching base with you between your sessions, your coach will help you manage food, stress and other obstacles. As a team working together you will build up habits that get you to your goal.
For many of our members, training by themselves is an important part of their progression. Your coach creates and updates your program regularly. Once trained on your program you are then also able to come in by yourself to use it. The coaches are always around to assist you and we make it as easy as possible with our support and our technology.
The Front of House team will be a part of your journey from the very start. Booking your initial visits, registering your details, helping you feel at home, setting up your sessions, arranging your parking (if you choose that option), making your shakes and coffee and just generally taking care of you each visit.
Personal Wellness Sessions are not needed by every member, so they are extra to your membership. However, they are discounted to members and available if life should throw one too many curve balls your way. They can help if you’re stuck in an emotional or behavioural rut from which you can’t seem to shift. Or you just need to kickstart some aspect of your life and don’t know how.
2016
Sam Hanney, Head Coach at U Fit Studio, took ownership of the Studio with 54 members
2017
The Studio grew to 115 members. Took on Helen Gribble (Coach) and Bhavisha Jaldevi (Front of House)
2018
U Fit name and logo trademarked. Studio grew to over 180 members. Developed metabolic classes room, additional shower facilities
2019
Studio grew to over 200 members. Attempted move refused planning permission
2020
Worldwide pandemic. Packed the gym into 4 storage containers and closed the site. Ran 30 online classes per week and one2one accountability sessions with members. U Fit Group established in order to grow and diversify the Studio.
2021
Trained members from garage and park until found a temporary site (an old motorbike showroom!). Took on Luke Williams (Coach), Tia Spiridon (Coach) and Stefan Dziewanowski (Personal Wellness Coach)
Aug 2021
Opened new site, at the Wullcombe building, opposite John Lewis.
2022
Studio grew to over 220 members. Took on Ash Jogia (Coach). Hosted a fire walk for member, alongside many other events.
2023
Took on Taja Ojukwu (Front of House). Studio grew to over 250 members.
May 2023
Opened Wellness site next door with U Fit Fusion classes-only memberships.
Jan 2024
Opened U Fit Thrive yoga and Pilates studio and yoga memberships.
